In this article we highlight the rapports between César Vallejo’s poem Trilce, and pythagorean Tetraktys, where we observe a dialogical movement going from the concept of Harmony to that of harmony, just as if it was a rite of passage. Esthetical implications of this change are exemplified by Corot and Juan Gris’ paintings.
